Moimenta da Beira is a Portuguese village in the District of Viseu, North Region and Douro sub-region, with about 2 800 inhabitants.
It is the seat of a municipality with 219.97 km² in area and 10 212 inhabitants (2011), subdivided into 16 parishes. The municipality is limited to the northeast by the municipality of Tabuaço, to the southeast by Sernancelhe, to the south by Sátão, to the southwest by Vila Nova de Paiva, to the west by Castro Daire, to the northwest by Tarouca and to the north by Armamar.
