WELCOME TO TABERNA CADEIA VELHA!
Taberna Cadeia Velha enjoys a privileged location, next to the Old Cadeia Tower, one of the most notorious testimonies of the Old Wall of Ponte de Lima, with panoramic views over the Lima River, the Medieval Bridge and the surrounding Sierras.
Continuing a family project for over 40 years, we reopened in November 2012 this space with modern facilities that provide a very warm, comfortable and with a landscape on the Lima River unique in establishments of this genre.
Taberna Cadeia Velha prides itself on being a space that brings back to the present the knowledge of the past, with the tapas and snacks that were once the basis of traditional gastronomy.
We try to keep the artisanal confection of our snacks, using in many of our dishes the delicacies that were falling into disuse, thus we escaped production on an industrial scale, thus preserving the true flavors of our tidbits.
We have defined processes for identifying the needs and requirements of customers so as to plan and deliver services that meet and, if possible, exceed their expectations.
