Portal do Fidalgo
This wine is produced exclusively from the Alvarinho variety. This variety is recognized as the best and finest Portuguese white variety. It is cultivated in the small sub-region of Monção and Melgaço, included in the Demarcated Region of Vinhos Verdes.

Varanda do Conde
Alvarinho and Trajadura is the most traditional combination of the region's white grape varieties. A careful selection of grapes, vinified with the aim of better expressing the union of the complexity of Alvarinho with the smoothness of Trajadura.

Vinha Antiga
This wine is obtained from a selection of grapes vinified in honor of our ancestors. Fermentation and aging in barrels, in addition to the heartfelt tribute, is the most personalized and traditional way of working Alvarinho.

Castas de Monção
This sparkling wine is produced from the tear musts of the Alvarinho and Trajadura varieties, harvested in the Monção and Melgaço Sub-Region, included in the Demarcated Region of Vinhos Verdes.

Côto de Mamoelas
This sparkling wine is produced with the tear must (without pressing), from Alvarinho grapes harvested at the ideal maturation point, to provide the wine with the consistency and freshness suitable for sparkling wine.

Alvarinho
Casta Alvarinho is one of the most notable Portuguese grape varieties, being responsible for the success of the first Portuguese “monovarietal” wines.

It is a very old variety, with low production and high rusticity. Characteristic of the sub-region of Monção and Melgaço, it presents small bunches, not very compact, with a peculiar shape, the “wing”. The berry is of medium size, round yellow in color, reaching pink tones when very ripe.

It gives rise to wines with an intense, distinct, delicate and complex aroma, ranging from quince, peach, banana, lemon and lychee (fruity character), orange blossom and violet (floral character), hazelnut and walnut (almond character). ) and honey (caramelized character). Its flavor is complex, soft, round, harmonious, full-bodied and persistent.

The Monção and Melgaço Sub-Region comprises the municipalities of Monção and Melgaço, which enjoy a very special microclimate, with Atlantic exposure and a climate characterized by high rainfall, atmospheric humidity, mild temperatures and small thermal amplitudes, which gives the wine Alvarinho unique features.
