Benedictine monastery whose foundation dates back to the 11th century. It is located in the parish of Pedroso, a few kilometers from the center of Gaia.

Description

Between the 11th and 14th centuries, there was an increase in the heritage of this Monastery, until the convent was extinct in the 16th century. From 1759 the Church of the Monastery began to serve as the Parish Church. From the original Romanesque, now lost, there is a shield on the side facade, a baptismal font on the inside and two adjoining the inner face of a covered body (nartex type) that precedes the entrance. It also has an 18th century coat of arms. XVI and some religious images.
