The Municipal Library Florbela Espanca, created in 1987, is located in the "Cultural Center of Matosinhos", in one of the most beautiful buildings in the Greater Porto region.

Description
With about 18,000 registered readers, the library currently has a collection of approximately 90,000 documents available to the public. Works that cover all areas of knowledge, from classical literature to the latest news, including science or works aimed at children.
The library is also a space that welcomes other aspects, such as music, cinema or information technologies. It provides audio documents, covering styles as diverse as jazz, pop, hip hop, rock, classical music or fado; and video, with the best animated cinema, with the Portuguese classics, the most recent Hollywood productions or the author's cinema. The Internet space, also available, is an opportunity for free access to the information society.
