Located in the center of the parish, this church, whose first stone was laid on October 28, 1989, was inaugurated and dedicated to Nossa Senhora da Maia, on October 11, 1992 by Archbishop Emeritus of Porto, D. Júlio Tavares Rebimbas .

Description

Designed by architect António Corte-Real, it is large in size, with a capacity for 900 people.

Inside, several religious art works can be seen, among which the great stained glass of the Resurrection, the tabernacle, the Christ, the image of Nossa Senhora da Maia, the Way of the Cross and the low relief of S. Miguel stand out.

Outside there is the magnificent bronze door and the bell tower with a carillon of 14 bells.
