Due to the antiquity and social, political and religious relevance of this family, who has lived in the Municipality of Maia for more than 350 years, in order to preserve its interesting 17th century housing complex and, wanting to promote, leisure, the arts and the local culture, by the will and good dispatch of Maria de Fátima Pereira de Azevedo Gramaxo the Gramaxo Foundation was created in 2013.
