O Brasão is a traditional Portuguese food restaurant. Chef António Carvalho, for over 40 years, has given life to the regional cuisine of Felgueiras. He made Santa Quitéria epic, passed through the Algarve and settled in his original coat of arms, where he continues to experiment and learn like any young talent in the kitchen.

The story begins in 1975 with what was then just a grocery store, but which soon became a reference for its boldness and modernity. He started serving simple snacks and in two years he just decided to open the restaurant. Step by step, he began to get into the craft until a decade later he felt prepared to take over the kitchen at Brasão.
The passion for cooking was joined by the entrepreneurial side, successfully opening several restaurants. He took to the heights, for example, Santa Quitéria, and then left his park in the Algarve, more precisely in Albufeira, with Viveiros da Galé, which left a mark on his culinary profile.
Anything but monotony, learning in all instances, this is how the master who even today, with more than 70 years, leads the Coat of Arms became. This space is his life, the room is genuinely a space for sharing.
