Nisa is a beautiful village in Alentejo, the seat of the municipality, characterized by its typical white colored strip to cheer, in a region of calm and tranquility, famous for its tasty sheep's cheese.
With a lot of history, Nisa presents an interesting Heritage, like what remains of the 13th century Castle, the Portas da Vila, the 15th century Mother Church and the 16th century Misericórdia Church (with an interesting Sacred Art Museum), the Chapels the 17th century Calvary and the 16th century Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres, or the interesting tapir of S. Gens, integrated in a set of four megalithic monuments.
The 16th century Chapel of Nossa Senhora da Graça, located 300 meters high, allows us to enjoy a viewpoint with impressive views, as well as the Serra de S. Miguel viewpoint, located at about 460 meters high.
