The Centro de Ciência Viva, in the village of Porto Moniz, is a kind of cultural center, aimed at adults and children that aims to host national and international exhibitions in the field of science, having signed a protocol with the Pavilion of Knowledge - Science Live from Lisbon.

This center, in addition to the exhibition area with interactive games, also features an auditorium, for about 150 people, which allows the holding of congresses and symposia.
