The municipality of Sobral de Monte Agraço belongs to the district of Lisbon, integrating the West sub-region and the Center region.
It is limited to the south and west by the municipalities of Mafra and Arruda dos Vinhos, to the north by the municipality of Torres Vedras and to the east by the municipality of Alenquer.
The municipality of Sobral de Monte Agraço is also served by rail, the Linha do Oeste, which crosses part of the municipality, with a train station in Pêro Negro and alights in Sapataria, Gozundeira and Jerumelo / Casais de S. Martinho.
The municipality of Sobral de Monte Agraço consists of three parishes: Sapataria, Santo Quintino and Sobral de Monte Agraço.
