Designed in 1890, by the Count of Arnoso, an engineer by profession, who designated it as “Casa Minho”. It is the first “Portuguese style” house to be built in the village of Cascais. It was joined by the group Vencidos da Vida, formed, among others, by the owner of the house, Eça de Queirós and Ramalho Ortigão.
