With a rich historical-cultural heritage, intact.
The mills that recalled the fact that Vila do Bispo was, for centuries, the granary of the Algarve, disappeared. However, the charm of the white houses continues cascading down from the top of a hill topped by the towering figure of the Church Tower.
The narrow streets that surround the church have many houses that speak of the old Algarve in the whitewashed walls, in the colorful frames and in the worked stonework that cut out doors and windows, in the shade that refreshes the hot days.
