São Brás de Alportel is a Portuguese village in the District of Faro, region and sub-region of the Algarve, with about 4 700 inhabitants.
It is the seat of a municipality with 153.37 km² in area and 10 662 inhabitants (2011), being one of the six municipalities in Portugal with a single parish, corresponding to the entire territory of the municipality. It is limited to the north and east by the municipality of Tavira, to the southeast by Olhão, to the south by Faro and to the west by Loulé.
