Quinta da Ponte do Louro is set among beautiful natural landscapes, perfect nature scenery in tranquility, is located about 5Klms from the center of Vila Nova de Famalicão and about 14Klms from Barcelos, excellent proposal for those seeking tranquility in the company of nature and at the same time know the customs of the local people.

 
The House

Casa do Minho, typical "Casa de Sequeiro", originated in the middle of the 18th century and acquired the final form in the beginning of the 19th century.

All rooms are equipped with heating and adequate furniture, so as to provide comfort and well-being to those who use them.

All the rooms of the house open onto a covered patio, extremely pleasant, facing the threshing floor in a very characteristic and integrated environment.

Involving the house there is a romantic garden decorated with secular cameleiras and buchos cut out in flowerbeds. The house opens onto a threshing floor which is surrounded by other gardens and a large terreiro.

One can also enjoy a lawned park with several large trees, and a swimming pool, making the environment pleasant and welcoming.

This whole complex is surrounded by an agricultural property in full production, aimed at agriculture and livestock.

This farm welcomes the visitor by providing you with the countryside of rural Minho.

Our Quinta invites you to breathe deeply the surrounding aromas in a perfect setting of nature in full tranquility, benefits from its location, excellent for rest and as a starting point for visiting tourist attractions in a few minutes, such as Barcelos, Ponte of Lima and Viana do Castelo, or other nearby places, either in the northern interior or by the coastal coast.
