The Fragas de Pena-Má, about 80 meters high, are located in the parish of Salamonde, in a narrow gorge opened by the small stream that has the name of Rio-Mau. A legend is associated around the waterfall and its picturesque surroundings, according to which the people of the land and neighboring parishes sought this place to cure the ills of children.
