The Museological Route at the Santo António dos Capuchos Convent was created by Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Guimarães in 2008, as a result of the concern for the conservation and enhancement of its artistic and cultural heritage.

Description

Located in the heart of the Holy Hill, it occupies space in the building built as a convent in the 19th century. XVII, and purchased by Misericórdia in 1842 to install its Hospital there. Some of the Institution's mobile assets are exposed, while visitors are invited to walk the corridors, patios and cloister of the imposing building, as well as visit the Church of the convent and its magnificent sacristy of the century. XVIII.
