The Santo André Ship-Museum is a hub of the Maritime Museum of Ílhavo. He was part of the Portuguese cod fleet and aims to illustrate the arts of trawling. This lateral (or “classic”) trawler was born in 1948, in the Netherlands, by order of the Aveiro Fishing Company. It was a modern vessel, 71.40 meters long and a hold for twenty thousand fish yards (1200 tons).
