Humanized lands, modeled by a mosaic of rich habitats, some rare like the “Bocage” and others of high importance such as reeds, reeds, rice fields, agricultural fields, salt marsh and mud and mud beaches, which enjoy a unique biodiversity composed countless species of native flora and fauna, some threatened, rare and of high conservation value such as the Otter, the Toirão, the Red Heron, the Bald Eagle, the Kingfisher, the Garçote, the Spoonbill, the Owl -Nabal, the Blue-breasted Robin, the Polyglot Felosa, the Marbled Newt, the Iberian Frog, the Frog and the Water Lizard.
