PROTECTED LANDSCAPE OF THE SEVEN CITIES BASIN

One of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal, where the Green and Blue lagoons are inserted, formed, according to legend, from the tears shed from a shepherd and a princess who lived a forbidden love. You can be dazzled by the panoramic viewpoint of Vista do Rei, a name that recalls the presence of King D. Carlos and Queen D. Amélia, in 1901.

The Parque da Ribeira dos Caldeirões corresponds to a project of landscape enhancement and tourist use of the set of water mills and the entire structure of paths and levadas existing there, looking for musealisation in loco.
